Instructions for grid mounting
Step 1:
A sturdy hook is attached to the masonry at the corners of the net, every 5–10 m along the wire and every time the net reaches a corner. The entire weight is suspended from these hooks!!! The tensioned wire is held in place in several places by various guide eyelets or hooks close to the wall, frame or similar. There is a wide range of hooks and mounting options for the various surfaces and net sizes.
Step 2:
Fix one end of the wire to the corner connection by forming a loop with the help of clamping sleeves. Pull the wire through all the hooks and guide sleeves to the starting hook. Hang a turnbuckle (relaxed!) in the corner hook. The loose end of the wire is attached to the end of the turnbuckle with a loop. Then tighten the turnbuckle until the wire is taut enough.
Step 3:
Attach the netting to the tensioned wire using ring clamps. Ideally, a ring clamp should be threaded through each individual mesh. Now the netting must be tensioned so that there are no gaps anywhere through which birds can get through. Cable ties can be very helpful here.
