Factory / acceptance test certificate according to DIN EN 10204/3.1 possible. The product Quattro sheet metal is made of stainless steel, material no. 1.4301. The surface is untreated. In contrast to our Duo sheet, the V-shaped spikes (spikes d= 2.0 mm) are welded onto a stainless steel strip every 25 mm. The strip is 20 mm wide and perforated 10 times for mounting purposes. The clear width of the spikes from tip to tip is alternately 55 mm and 150 mm. The entire strip is 1000 mm long. Quattro sheet metal covers a landing area of approx. 200 mm. The principle As Quattro sheet metal is made of stainless steel, rotting is almost impossible. This guarantees a long service life and gives you a visually attractive, clean appearance. Quattro sheet metal can be easily cut to the required size using sheet metal shears. The advantages Quattro sheet metal is our ‘wide’ version (‘narrow’ version see ‘Duo sheet metal’). It therefore covers a larger area to be protected, which means less work during installation. Quattro sheet metal can also be perfectly combined with Duo sheet metal. The small spike spacing (25 mm instead of 50 mm) of Quattro sheet gives your object even better protection. The variant In contrast to Quattro sheet metal, Quattro wire has two wires to support the spikes instead of the stainless steel strip. When using Quattro wire, we recommend screwing it in place with our fixing sheets. With Quattro sheet metal, on the other hand, we recommend using our special adhesive for installation due to the larger surface area. However, screwing or riveting is equally possible. Assembly Quattro sheet metal can be fitted in one or more rows (over the entire surface) or combined with Duo sheet metal. When installed over the entire surface, ‘flying behind’ is prevented and it is impossible for pigeons to perch. Quattro sheet metal can be attached either with screws or rivets via the holes provided in the strip or simply with our special adhesive.
